A short drive from Mt Potts Station you will find yourself by Lake Clearwater. No dogs or motor powered craft are permitted as this is a wildlife reserve however with its strong and consistent winds funneled off the mountains, it is definitely a slice of heaven for windsurfers, sailors and kitesurfers. The lake is 1 km x 5 km and because it is shallow it gets very warm. In addition it holds a good stock of rainbow and brown trout.
